Adult Bible Study

We offer a variety of Bible Study options for adults, college – 100s!  One of the things we celebrate at Vineville is the opportunity to study and grow together across the generations.  If you have questions or would like additional information about getting connected with one of our Adult Bible Studies, please contact our Minister of Family Life and Education, Leigh Halverson.

Below you will find an overview of the current small group options:

Sunday Mornings
9:35am-10:35am
Plugged-In:  for highschool graduates thru age 29, meets in the Guest Reception room, led by John Kelly; Studies vary.
The Gathering:  30s-40s, meets in Lower Auditorium, led by Angela Blizzard and Scrap Ladson; primary curriculum is Nurturing Faith.
Wisdom Seekers:  50s-70s, meet in L-301, led by Rachel Greco, Jim Jones, and Donna Wood; primary curriculum is Nurturing Faith.
One-Liners:  60s, meet in S-302, led by Sandra Higgison and Kathy Kendrick; no primary curriculum, straight study of the Bible.
Faith, Hope, and Love:  60s, meet in M-305, led by Jackie Fry; primary curriculum is Formations.
Esther:  60s-70s, meet in S-303, led by Dave Graham; primary curriculum is Formations.
Frederick Buechner:  70s, meet in M-106, led by Lynn Collier, Kay DeFore, and Wil Platt; primary curriculum is Formations.
Rebekah/Mary & Martha:  70s-80s, meet in L-300, led by Peggy Hindsman and Pam Kent; primary curriculum is Formations.
Joy: 80s+, meet in L-109, led by Nancy Kitchens; primary curriculum is Explore the Bible.

Tuesday Evenings
7:30pm-9:00pm
This study is for adults of all ages and stages.  The group gathers every other Tuesday evening in either the Conference Room and is led by Leigh Halverson.  The current study is Brave and Beloved, a study on women in the Bible.

Wednesday Evenings
5:30pm-6:15pm, Fellowship Dinner in the Gymnasium, $8.00 per adult, $5.00 per child, $23.00 max per household
6:15pm, Bible Study led by Interim Preacher, Keithen Tucker
